  Solo performing at The Academy's Founding Party

  The foundation festival is a tribute to the arts and a celebration of the visual artists and architects who help make our society more beautiful.
  
  For 269 years, the Academy has been a democratically elected assembly whose task is to promote visual arts and architecture in Denmark.
  
  This is done, among other things, by awarding medals to visual artists, architects and mediators whose work contributes something special to society.
  
  Her Majesty the Queen will present the Academy's medals, and after the presentation there will be dinner in the Dome Hall. Here, there is talk around the tables across visual arts, architecture, research and politics.
